Overview:

Hikvision DS-2CD2D25G1/M-D/NF Covert Network Camera
High quality imaging with 2 MP resolution, efficient H.265+ compression technology to save bandwidth and storage, clear imaging against strong back light due to 120 dB true WDR technology, and 3D DNR technology for clean and sharp images.

Description:

The Hikvision DS-2CD2D25G1/M-D/NF is a compact covert network camera designed for discreet Full HD surveillance where reliable image quality and unobtrusive installation are important. With a 2 MP sensor and 1920x1080 resolution, it provides clear video for monitoring indoor areas and other applications requiring a discreet camera solution.

The camera combines 120 dB true WDR with BLC and HLC to help maintain usable image detail in challenging lighting conditions, including scenes with strong backlighting. 3D DNR further reduces digital noise to produce cleaner footage, while H.265 and H.264 video compression help reduce bandwidth and storage requirements.

Features:

Hikvision 2MP Covert Network Camera
The DS-2CD2D25G1/M-D/NF uses a fixed 2.8mm lens and is designed for discreet surveillance installations. Its covert design makes it suitable for applications where a conventional visible CCTV camera may not be desirable.

The camera supports up to 15 simultaneous live view channels, allowing multiple authorised users or systems to access the camera feed. A fixed region of interest can also be configured to prioritise important areas within the image.

Clear Full HD Surveillance
With 2 MP resolution and a 1920x1080 Full HD image, the camera provides detailed video for everyday security monitoring. The 120 dB true WDR system helps balance bright and dark areas within the same scene, making it useful in environments where lighting conditions can change significantly.

Additional image processing includes:

  • 120 dB true WDR for improved backlight handling
  • BLC and HLC for challenging lighting conditions
  • 3D DNR for reducing image noise
  • Defog function for improved visibility in hazy conditions
  • Fixed 2.8mm lens for discreet monitoring
  • Support for one fixed region of interest

Efficient Video Compression
The camera supports H.265 and H.264 video compression to help optimise network bandwidth and recording storage. Efficient compression is particularly useful when the camera is connected to an NVR or other network video recording system.

Network and Audio Connectivity
A 10M/100M self-adaptive RJ45 Ethernet port provides the network connection for video transmission and camera management. The camera also includes one line-in audio input for compatible audio applications.

Key technical details include:

  • Resolution: 2 MP, 1920x1080 Full HD
  • Lens: Fixed 2.8mm
  • Video compression: H.265 and H.264
  • Dynamic range: 120 dB true WDR
  • Audio: 1 x line-in audio input
  • Network: 1 x RJ45 10M/100M self-adaptive Ethernet port
  • Live view: Up to 15 simultaneous channels
  • ROI: 1 fixed region

Part Number and Model
This Hikvision covert network camera is supplied under part number / SKU HK-311318330 and carries the model designation DS-2CD2D25G1/M-D/NF(2.8mm)(O-STD).

Suitable Applications
The discreet design and Full HD imaging make this camera suitable for offices, retail environments, commercial premises, reception areas and other locations where covert network surveillance is required.
