USB 3.1 performance is 2 times faster than USB 3.0 and 20 times faster than USB 2.0 connectivity. With SUNIX unique technology, it can output efficient power to USB device without additional power adapter connection. Description

The SUNIX USB2312 is designed to expand desktop computer connectivity by providing 2 x external USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports through a PCI Express 2.0 x2 interface. Using the Asmedia ASM1142 host controller, it supports transfer rates of up to 10Gbps for compatible USB devices while remaining compatible with previous USB standards.

The included standard and low-profile mounting brackets allow installation in both full height and small form factor desktop systems. A SATA power connection supplies additional power required by connected USB devices, helping maintain stable operation with demanding peripherals.

Each USB port includes built in overcurrent protection and supports up to 900mA output.
