Description:

The Arctis Nova 7P Wireless Gen 2 combines high-fidelity audio with intelligent connectivity for a superior gaming experience. Key benefits include simultaneous Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless support, allowing you to listen to game audio while taking calls or streaming music from your phone. The headset boasts an impressive battery life of over 50 hours, ensuring you can play for days without interruption, while the USB-C fast charge feature provides six hours of playtime with just a 15-minute charge. Advanced customization is available through the companion app, where users can access 200+ pro EQ presets or create custom profiles to amplify footsteps and reduce background noise. The ClearCast Gen 2 microphone offers studio-quality voice clarity with AI-powered noise rejection, making it an essential tool for competitive play.

At the heart of this headset lies a sophisticated audio engine that separates game, chat, music, and app sounds into distinct channels. You can adjust the volume for each source independently or even down to individual applications using the mobile companion app. This level of control means you can keep your party chat loud while keeping background music at a comfortable level without affecting your gameplay focus. The system supports 360-degree spatial audio enabled by neodymium magnetic drivers, creating an immersive soundscape that helps you locate opponents with pinpoint accuracy. The part number for this specific model is 61744, ensuring compatibility with the latest generation of gaming consoles and handheld devices.

Features:

Sound Quality and Audio Customization
Experience a deep and detailed soundscape driven by high-performance 40 mm neodymium magnetic drivers that deliver rich bass and crisp highs. The headset supports a frequency response range from 20 Hz to 22,000 Hz with low total harmonic distortion for pure sound reproduction. Users can tailor their audio experience using the Arctis Companion App or PC software, choosing from over 200 professional EQ presets designed by top esports players and audiophiles. This allows you to sharpen footsteps in a shooter game while maintaining deep bass for your music playlists simultaneously.

• Neodymium Magnetic Drivers with 40 mm size
• Frequency Response: 20-22,000 Hz
• Sensitivity: 105 dBSPL @ 1kHz/1mW
• Impedance: 36 Ohms
• Total Harmonic Distortion: less than 3%
• 360 Spatial Audio Support Enabled

The microphone system is equally impressive, featuring the ClearCast Gen 2 retractable boom that offers bidirectional noise cancellation. This technology effectively filters out keyboard clicks, fan noise, and background chatter to ensure your voice comes through clear and loud to teammates. When you need a break or want to play in silence, the mic can be retracted into the earcup for storage, though it is recommended to extend it for optimal sound quality due to its directional pickup pattern. The microphone also includes a dedicated EQ setting that lets you control your voice tone, making you sound deeper and clearer.

Battery Life and Wireless Connectivity
The Arctis Nova 7P Gen 2 is engineered for endurance with a battery life of up to 54 hours on 2.4GHz wireless mode alone. Even when using both Bluetooth and the gaming dongle simultaneously, you can expect around 38 hours of continuous play. For those times when power runs low, the optimized USB-C fast charge provides six hours of gameplay in just 15 minutes of charging. The headset supports a dual-connection setup where you can connect via the USB-C wireless dongle for your game and simultaneously pair with Bluetooth devices like smartphones or tablets.

• Battery Life: Up to 54 hours (2.4GHz), 42 hours (Bluetooth)
• Fast Charge: 15 minutes charge equals 6 hours play
• Gaming Wireless: 2.4GHz connection via USB-C dongle
• Bluetooth Support: Version 5.0
• Simultaneous Audio: Yes, game and mobile audio mix together
• Wireless Range: Optimized for low latency gaming

One of the standout capabilities is the ability to separate EQ settings for your game and your mobile audio. You can pump the bass on a music playlist while simultaneously sharpening the treble to hear enemy footsteps in your game without conflict. The headset includes an on-ear control panel that gives you immediate access to volume adjustment, sidetone dial for mic monitoring, power controls, pairing buttons, Bluetooth toggles, and mute functions. A secondary power button allows you to independently turn the Bluetooth connection on or off without affecting the main gaming wireless link.

Compatibility and Software
This headset is designed as a universal solution supporting PC, PlayStation consoles, Nintendo Switch, and various handheld devices. It connects via a compact USB-C wireless dongle that plugs directly into your console or computer, with a USB-A to USB-C adapter included for legacy ports. The companion app allows for deep customization on iPhone running iOS 15.6 or later and Android devices running version 9 or above. For PC users, the GG + Engine software works with Windows 8.1 and newer as well as Mac OS 10.13 and up.

• Supported Platforms: PC, PlayStation, Switch, Handhelds
• Connection Type: USB-C Wireless Dongle (2.4GHz)
• Mobile App Compatibility: iOS 15.6+, Android 9+
• PC Software: GG + Engine (Windows/Mac) and Sonar Suite
• ChatMix Feature: Requires Windows 10 or above for full integration

If you are wondering about the differences between models, the Arctis Nova 7P distinguishes itself with a specific dial on the right earcup used for adjusting sidetone levels rather than the chat mix found on other variants. When answering an incoming phone call via Bluetooth, the microphone automatically switches over to the call and mutes your connection to the game chat to prevent background noise from interrupting the conversation. The headset weighs only 325 grams or 0.72 lbs, making it lightweight enough for all-day wear without causing fatigue.

FAQ

Can I listen to game audio and Bluetooth music at the same time?
Yes, this headset supports simultaneous 2.4GHz gaming wireless and Bluetooth connections, allowing you to mix game audio via the USB-C dongle with mobile audio or calls without needing extra cables.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?
The headset offers up to 50+ hours of playtime on 2.4GHz wireless, though this drops to approximately 38 hours if using both Bluetooth and gaming audio simultaneously. A quick USB-C charge provides up to 6 hours of play in just 15 minutes.

Does the microphone work when it is retracted?
The microphone will still pick up sound while retracted, but because it is a directional mic, you must extend and position it close to your mouth for the best audio quality.

Can I use this headset with my phone or PC?
This headset works with PlayStation, Switch, handhelds, and PCs via a USB-C wireless dongle. For mobile devices, you can connect via Bluetooth, though note that using a phone call will automatically mute your microphone for game chat.

What are the differences between this model and the Arctis Nova 7?
The main difference is in the right earcup dial; while the standard Nova 7 uses it for ChatMix integration with PC software, the Nova 7P uses its dial to adjust sidetone (mic monitoring) directly on the headset.
