FAQ

Is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3XW compatible with Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC?
Yes, the headset features cross-platform play support. The included nano-sized USB-C adapter allows for plug-and-play connectivity on Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC while keeping nearby ports accessible due to its L-shaped design.

Can I listen to game audio and Bluetooth music simultaneously?
While the headset maintains both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connections at the same time, it only allows one audio stream at once. You can instantly switch between gaming on 2.4GHz and your preferred Bluetooth preset by tapping the power button.

How do I control music playback or take calls using the headset?
You can manage Bluetooth music directly via the multi-function volume wheel: press once for play/pause, twice to skip forward, three times to skip backward, and depress the wheel to activate these controls. For incoming phone calls on a 2.4GHz connection, press the Power/Quick-Switch button once to answer or switch modes, press it again to hang up, or press it twice quickly to reject.

Can I adjust game and chat volume balance directly from the headset?
Yes, you can access ChatMix by long-pressing the volume button until you hear a tone. Use the wheel to select your mix level (0%, 50/50, or 100% chat). Note that on PC, you must install SteelSeries Sonar Software to enable this function, whereas it works natively on Xbox.

How long does the battery last and how fast is the charging?
The headset offers up to 30 hours of playtime on 2.4GHz wireless or up to 40 hours on Bluetooth. For quick top-ups, a 15-minute USB-C charge provides approximately 9 hours of additional gameplay.
