Low-Cost EcoTank Photo Printing
Instead of relying on conventional cartridges, the Epson L8050 uses high-capacity refillable ink tanks with 70 ml ink bottles. This helps keep running costs low for users who print large quantities of photographs and documents.

The included ink supply is capable of producing substantial print volumes, including up to 1,900 high-quality 10 x 15 cm photos under stated conditions. Epson also states yields of up to 1,500 10 x 15 cm colour photos, 2,600 black pages and 5,400 colour pages depending on the applicable print conditions.

The EcoTank design also uses Heat-Free PrecisionCore technology, helping reduce energy consumption compared with printing technologies that require heat during the printing process.

Simple Ink Refilling and Maintenance
The Epson L8050 has an integrated front-facing ink tank system that makes it easier to check ink levels and refill when required. Key-lock ink bottles are designed to help ensure the correct colour is added to each tank, while drip-free nozzles help reduce mess during refilling.

For easier maintenance, the printer includes an accessible replaceable maintenance box and pickup roller. Epson specifies a product lifetime of up to 50,000 photos, making the L8050 suitable for demanding photo printing environments.
