Overview:

Ajax KeyPad Plus Jeweller - Wireless Indoor Security Keypad
KeyPad Plus Jeweller is a sleek, wireless indoor keypad designed for secure, contactless control of your Ajax security system. It supports encrypted Pass cards, Tag key fobs, and personalized codes to arm or disarm the system, activate Night Mode, and manage specific security groups. With its touch-sensitive interface, long-lasting batteries, and advanced DESFire encryption, KeyPad Plus combines convenience, reliability, and high-level security for homes, offices, and commercial spaces.

Description:

KeyPad Plus Jeweller allows effortless, secure access through contactless Pass cards, Tag key fobs, or personalized codes. The keypad features DESFire technology for encryption and copy protection, ensuring user identification is fast and safe. With battery life of up to 4.5 years, remote access control via the Ajax app, tamper detection, duress codes, and a panic button, KeyPad Plus offers full security management. It supports up to 200 users, 99 unregistered codes, and can manage multiple security zones. Installation is simple via QR code pairing, and the device integrates seamlessly with Ajax hubs and range extenders, providing smart automation and real-time alerts.

Features:

Top-Level Data Security
The keypad uses DESFire EV1/EV2 contactless technology, combining ISO 14443 standard compliance with 128-bit encryption for robust protection. This encryption prevents unauthorized access and is used in high-security environments, including European transport systems and NASA facilities. Pass cards and Tag key fobs offer virtually unhackable access.

Convenient Access Management
Manage user permissions directly from the Ajax app. Assign cards, key fobs, or codes to individuals, define access rights, and track all events in real time. Temporary or unregistered users can be given access using unique codes without creating system accounts. Notifications provide detailed information about added, removed, or deactivated access codes.

Long Battery Life
Pre-installed AA batteries ensure up to 3.5 years of operation under daily use and up to 4.5 years if the contactless reader is inactive. The keypad alerts users and monitoring stations in advance when battery replacement is required.

Emergency Alerts and Duress Protection
KeyPad Plus includes a panic button to instantly alert security services and support automation scenarios such as activating sirens or locking systems. Duress codes simulate regular disarming while silently notifying security personnel in emergency situations.

Intuitive Control and Indications
The device uses light and sound indicators to show armed, disarmed, Night Mode, and system malfunction statuses. The backlight and volume are adjustable for convenience. Tamper alerts notify the user and monitoring stations if the keypad is removed from its mount.

Smart Automation and Integration
KeyPad Plus can trigger pre-defined automation scenarios, including turning off lights, closing roller shutters, and controlling water or electrical appliances when arming or disarming. It communicates securely with Ajax hubs up to 1,700 meters away and supports multiple range extenders to expand coverage across large properties.

Quick and Hassle-Free Installation
Pairing with Ajax hubs is achieved through a simple QR code scan, with no need to disassemble the enclosure or install batteries manually. SmartBracket mounting panels and pre-made fixing points make installation straightforward.

Reliable Wireless Communication
Powered by Jeweller two-way radio technology, KeyPad Plus maintains encrypted communication, device authentication, and fast detection of connection loss or tampering. Polling intervals are adjustable to ensure rapid updates and continuous supervision.

Versatile Access Options
Supports multiple authentication methods: single keypad code, personal codes for up to 200 users, codes for unregistered users, duress codes, and contactless access through Pass cards or Tag key fobs. Each card or fob can control up to 13 security systems, sold in batches to suit user needs.

Effortless System Supervision
The keypad and all Ajax devices perform self-diagnostics and communicate device status to the hub and Ajax Cloud server. Users and security teams receive instant notifications of alarms, malfunctions, or connection issues.

Robust Physical and Cyber Security
KeyPad Plus locks after three incorrect code attempts, protects against spoofing, and encrypts all stored and transmitted data with a dynamic key. Tamper alarms, duress codes, and encrypted access devices ensure full protection against unauthorized use.
